A carved wooden dance crest associated with the Oglinye society. The face bears incised and raised linear scarification and the eyes are shown closed in a calm expression. This female crest was danced in opposition to the aggressive male warrior dancers. The condition is fair: the surface is weathered and there are areas of decay to the underside.
