African Tribal Art
A group of three hand-carved wooden figures. The first is a Baule blolo bian, or dream husband, standing on a fused base with sinuous arms held against a slender abdomen, recessed eyes and a broad nose on an enlarged head. The second is a Fante figure with a tiered base, a cylindrical body and an elongated head with slit-form eyes. The third is a standing figure from Papua New Guinea with delineated legs, broad shoulders and a stocky head with crescent-shaped eyes.
