African Comb with Kneeling Female Figure

A finely carved wooden comb whose handle takes the form of a kneeling female figure with a plaited coiffure, delicate facial features and hands clasping the breasts. Cross-hatched scarification marks the rounded abdomen. The comb has seven teeth and incised decoration. The carving has been tentatively attributed to the Guro.
