Two large clay discs pierced through the centre, identified as spindle whorls, though they may alternatively be beads.
Provenance
Estate of the Rev. Boyce M. Bennett, ThD, archaeologist and former academic dean of General Theological Seminary. Some pieces from the estate were found in 1967 at his excavation at Gilgal, about eight miles from ancient Jericho; others were purchased from Mr Ohan's shop in the old city of Jerusalem in 1967–68.Acquired
